The first urban
legend a proper iskolar of the UP system would hear of is the curse of the
Oblation. The story of the curse varies but the common belief goes that taking
a picture with the Oblation statue as an undergrad will hinder a student from
graduating on time. Apparently, the curse is strongest in UP Diliman but is
spread through all campuses.
